Abseiling

For all of those adventurous types who wish to try something totally different, why not give Abseiling a go!  This proved a highly successful event recently when Youth 2000 Ulster organised an abeiling fundraiser event on the Europa hotel in Belfast!

Cycle

For those of you who prefer to stay closer to the ground, why not create your own mini "Tour de France"!

The Castleknock prayer group in Dublin organised a hugely successful fundraising cycle from Castleknock to Clonmacnois recently over two days.  This was a fantastic event and great fun was had by everyone.

Football Tournament

Every guy dreams of playing in a World Cup Final!  For most of us, that dream may never come through but why not organise our own Youth 2000 Cup Final, and organise a fundraising event.  Youth 2000 Ulster took part in this event in the recent past and it was a fantastic event.  Organise a game between prayer groups, regions, provinces, etc!

Waxathon

This event can be great craic.  Youth 2000 Munster have organised fantastic waxathon events over the years!  For those of you who wish to witness big, tough, grown men cry, and at the same time raise money, this is your event!!

Night at the Dogs

A fundraising night at a greyhound stadium can be great fun.  Youth 2000 have held this event two years in a row in Shelbourne Park in Dublin.  It is a great social outing, fantastic fundraising night, and a great opportunity for friends to meet up, support Youth 2000 and have loads of fun!

Barbeque or Pizza Night

For those of you who are not the sporty or active type, but love to meet friends and have a night of fun, why not organise a barbeque or pizza night for all of your friends and fundraise for Youth 2000 at the same time!

Bowling

Unfortunately in Ireland, we are not blessed with fine weather all of the year round, so sometimes it can be difficult to organise an outdoor activity, or find time during the day to do so.  An easier option may be to organise a bowling competition!

Karaoke Night

Do you think that you have the X-Factor?  Want to have a great night of fun, singing, meeting friends, and have a great laugh?  If so, a Karaoke night is your answer.  Organise this in aid of Youth 2000 and people will rush to be a part of it!

Table Quiz

For those non-active types who prefer to exercise their brain more than their bodies, a table quiz is the perfect solution.  This can be great fun, especially with a witty and funny quiz master, and can be a brilliant fundraising event.

Sponsored Hill Walk

Ireland has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.  Anyone who has climber Croagh Patrick can testify to this.  Why not organise a sponsored walk up Croagh Patrick or to another part of the country.  This is a great way for people to mix, bond and raise funding!
