How can I help?
“Many hands make light work”! How true! Youth 2000 events are always a huge success thanks to the incredible team of dedicated volunteers that work so hard to ensure a great weekend is had by all. We would like to make a special appeal for help from members of the various Youth 2000 prayer groups and other adults (mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, neighbours, friends!) who may be able to assist us and to commit help well in advance. The different types of areas we will need help in are:
- - Mail outs (Dublin office)
- - Weekend Mission Team
- - Safety team
- - Registration
- - Set up
- - Share Group leaders (must be a registered guardian)
- - Welcome team
- - Catering
- - Drivers for speakers and guests
- - Logistics
- - Electricians
- - Plumbers
Help needed before the festival!
For the week before the festival (Sat 30th July – Thurs 4th August 2011) we plan to have a set-up team of 20 or so volunteers who will live in Clonmacnois in an atmosphere of community, prayer, work and good craic (evening football, walks, bbq etc!) – so please book your holidays off now and let us know!! All accommodation and food will be provided for people who can join us during this time! If you would like to be in this team please phone the Youth 2000 National Office on 01 6753690.
