The novena in honour of the Holy Spirit is the oldest of all novenas since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Spirit on the first Pentecost. Addressed to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, it is a powerful plea for the light and strength of the Holy Spirit. As well as praying for a fresh outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, our particular intention this year is- To prevent the introduction of abortion into Ireland.

Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary- Thursday 15th- Sunday 18th August 2013

We will be holding this year's Youth 2000 Summer Festival in Cistercian College Roscrea, Co. Tipperary!
In this Year of Faith, the Lord has opened a new door for us, we excitingly walk through this door knowing that all we need to do is trust in Him. We pray that many young people will walk through this door of faith with us and thus have a life changing experience of Christ and his Church.
We ask you for your prayers and support for the success of the festival. The main preacher this year is Bishop Frank J Caggiano, Auxillary Bishop of Brooklyn. There will be a network of free buses from all around the country.
